A gift for Kanra's birthday. Kankim is an orange star from the constellation of Boötes.

Not only orange is Kanra's favorite color, it's also pretty close to Arcturus, one of the brightest stars in the sky and the one that represents Kanra herself for us.
Since Kanra lives in a big city, one of the few stars she'd be able to see is Arcturus, so she'd always know KanKim star was near enough.

Boötes also happens to be a spring constellation. Spring was the season Kanra was born and the one that matches her atmosphere the most.

The coordinates for the star includes "Boo", which is one of our fated things.

Boötes is also known as Arctophylax, the "Bear Watcher". Kimy happens to hibernate and hug Kanra like a bear. That's why now bears are important.
